Our founder, Jashan Sippy, was interviewed by the Times Group. The article was published in newspapers across Indian cities. These included Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bangalore. Take a look at our feature ‘The Design of Eating’ here.

Bhau Daji Lad was, to me, very edible,” says Jashan. From family background to life growing up, the journey from architect to food designer and living between Mumbai, San Francisco and London… Jashan opens ups about what it’s like to establish oneself in a (practically) non-existent market in India. He talks of his experiences working in an architecture firm in the United States and what it was like to manage a team of over 100 people at a candy-inspired pop-up, Candytopia. Jashan moves on to talk about projects he has taken on in 2019, some close to his heart. He speaks of the infamous ‘Al Dente Wall‘, his experience hosting ‘Death Over Dinner‘ and what it’s like to 3D print food! He shares insights and the ups and downs of being a change-maker and an entrepreneur. Above all, he reveals the source of his inspiration and motivation, which is his near and dear ones.
